A class action has been filed against AT&T regarding I phone billing.
The lawsuit alleges that the customers are being billed when they are not using data.
These are only allegations that are denied by AT&T and the plaintiff must prove his case in court.
In my opinion claims will be defended to the fullest by AT&T. There is another issue: arbitration agreements and whether they are contained in the agreements sign with AT&T. The arbitration agreements are probably there and as such a “jury” trial will probably be unlikely, BUT there are ways to overcome these agreements. For another date: defeating arbitration agreements in consumer contracts.
